We are a dynamic hospitality and tourism business in Siargao, committed to providing excellent
service and seamless operations. As we grow, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to
support our financial management, ensuring accurate records and compliance with local
regulations.
Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions, tracking
expenses, and supporting tax compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who
can maintain organized financial records and work closely with management to ensure smooth
financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Transaction Recording – Maintain accurate records of income and expenses.
• Invoice and Bill Management – Track, organize, and process invoices and supplier
payments.
• Petty Cash Tracking – Monitor cash usage, reconcile petty cash, and ensure proper
documentation.
• Bank Reconciliation Support – Assist in reconciling bank statements and verifying
transactions.
• Payroll Support – Assist in payroll processing, including computing salaries and
statutory deductions.
• Expense Tracking – Monitor business expenses and ensure accurate reporting.
• Tax Compliance (Admin Work) – Support the preparation and filing of BIR reports and
ensure compliance with tax requirements.
• Ad-hoc Financial Tasks – Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by
management or the accounting team.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance (fresh graduates
with relevant internship experience may apply).
• Knowledge of Philippine tax compliance (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
• High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be willing to relocate to Siargao (accommodation provided).
• On-site role only (no remote work).
