Job Description
The Treasury Specialist will report directly to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of cash disbursements to employees, suppliers and other parties.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Prepare and obtain approvals on check vouchers based on weekly Requests for
Payments (RFPs) and process the related check from end-to-end (e.g. check printing,
signing and releasing)
-Administer bank transfers based on weekly Requests for Payments (RFPs) and ensure
timely processing of payments
-Execute foreign exchange sourcing per requirement
-Update treasury reports (e.g. cash position reports, cash forecast) and perform
compliance activities
-Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure minimal reconciliation items. All bank charges
should be correctly accounted
-Assist in the preparation of the 12-week rolling flow cash forecasts to determine the
company’s cash position and manage liquidity of the company
-Coordinates closely with Accounting for proper documentation, reconciliation and
recording of all cash movements
-Ad hoc projects
QUALIFCATIONS
-Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting, Economics or a related subject
-At least two (2) years work experience in Treasury
COMPETENCIES
-High integrity
-Expertise in MS Excel
-Excellent in oral/ written communication skills
-Strong organizational and time management skills to meet the tight deadlines
-Capable to work independently and requires minimal supervision
-Knowledge of cash management principles and banking polies and processes
