Job Description

The bank Administrator will manage the company’s financial transactions, oversee bank accounts, and ensure smooth banking operations for the FMCG business. This role will be responsible for handling banking correspondence, reconciling financial records, and assisting in managing the company’s banking relationships to ensure efficient cash flow and financial operations.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the company’s bank accounts, ensuring smooth operation, accurate transactions, and timely reconciliation of all bank statements.
Coordinate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records and bank transactions.
Ensure that payments, transfers, and deposits are processed accurately and on time.
Assist in managing cash flow and ensuring that the company’s financial obligations are met promptly.
Prepare and submit reports related to bank transactions, cash flow forecasts, and financial statements.
Liaise with banks to handle day-to-day banking issues, such as account maintenance, credit facilities, and documentation.
Manage bank documentation, including account opening forms, bank correspondence, and any banking agreements or contracts.
Assist with internal audits by providing necessary documentation and reports related to bank transactions and financial records.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies regarding banking and cash management.
Track and report on banking fees, interest rates, and charges, and suggest areas for potential savings.
Support the treasury team in cash management and investments, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently.
Coordinate with the procurement team for supplier payments and ensure accurate processing of payments to vendors.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial documents, contracts, and agreements related to bank transactions.
Assist with the preparation of the company’s budget and financial forecasts, particularly in relation to bank transactions and financing needs.
Stay updated on any banking industry changes or regulations that may impact the company’s financial operations.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in banking, finance, or administrative roles, preferably in an FMCG or related industry.
Understanding of banking operations and cash management practices.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with external bank representatives and internal teams.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of financial regulations, policies, and best practices related to banking in the FMCG sector is a plus.
