Job Description

Responsibilities:
-Provide legal counsel on trade compliance, customs regulations, and international trade laws.
-Ensure company operations align with import/export regulations, tariff classifications, and trade agreements.
-Manage customs clearance procedures and resolve trade compliance issues.
-Develop and implement customs compliance programs to minimize risks.
-Liaise with government agencies, customs authorities, and legal representatives on trade-related matters.

Required Skills:
-Preferably a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and Certified Public Accountant but accounting background is not mandatory.
-Must have 4 years of related experience in Customs engagements (due diligence, health checks and advisory)
-Experience in handling complex customs compliance matters and audits is essential.
-Demonstrated ability to handle client relationships and provide legal guidance in high-pressure situations.

Additional Notes:
This position will be working with global organization of independent professional services firms.

Working Set-up: Hybrid
Mondays to Fridays.
