Job Description
The Finance Manager is responsible to analyze market trends and various and business opportunities from a financial perspective
Responsible for ensuring the financial health of an organization and conduct accurate data
analysis and offer advise to senior management on strategies to maximize profits , securing long-term success for the company.
SPECIFIC ROLES & DUTIES
Monitor budget performance, expenditure control this includes forecasting future income and
expenses, creating budgets and balance sheets, and ensuring that spending with budget limits
Prepare financial reports. Prepare reports and documents covering accounting transactions for
management review. Other financial reports to provide an overview of the company’s financial
status and performance. Reports used to make critical business decisions, assessment risk, and secure financing
Conduct financial transactions. Oversee all financial transactions, including issuing payments,
collecting debts, investing money and secure financing. Develop and maintain financial systems.
Plan, direct, and control accounting and financial operations
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws: comply with all relevant economic rules
and regulations and ensuring that financial records are accurate and up to date. Providing auditors
with records, documents, and file about VAT returns, VAT settlements and transactional data
Implement financial controls in the businesses which prevent misuse and misappropriation of
funds or assets and inefficient cost control
Prepare reports daily, weekly, and monthly which include but are not limited to sales analysis, food
and beverages cost reports, monthly management accounts
Prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts. Ensure financial legal
requirements are met
Develop reporting systems
Find ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business processes
Serve as a key member of the senior management team to develop operational and strategic
business plans, forecasts, and feasibility studies
Submission of a monthly Financial Manager’s report summarize the performance of the
businesses under your control, which includes a P&L, variance analysis against budget and
forecast, balance sheet and cash flow, focus areas for the next month, control weaknesses and
corrective actions
Daily cash flow monitoring and management which includes the management of payables
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations review and authorize
Overseeing and control of the purchasing department ensuring the right item is purchased at the
most competitive price
Monitor supplier/customer agreements regarding respective revenue and cost associated with
them
Use industry experience and initiative to identify areas for cost cutting and/or revenue
improvement
Ensure all businesses and assets under your control are at all times properly insured through a
reputable insurance company, claims are processed timely with appropriate
Risk management of assets, currency, credit, and liquidity
Manage and coordinate internal and external audits
Strive to build a team culture by working together with the respective business and department
heads in support of their strategies to achieve the business plan
Be familiar with the labor law and HR practices in the business and industry
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY on the following:
Educational Background:
o Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
o Certified Public Accountant
o 5-10 years minimum experience in Food and Beverage setting
Work Experiences:
o With FP&A, investment banking, business administration experience
o Extensive understanding of financial trends both with the company and general market
patterns
o Proficient user of finance software
o Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
o Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations

o Demonstrated effectiveness in written and communication skills
o Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
o Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
