The Riders – VIP & Branch Pickups are responsible for efficiently collecting shipments from VIP clients and company branches, ensuring timely and secure transport to the designated sorting or dispatch areas. These riders play a key role in maintaining service reliability, ensuring high-priority shipments are handled with care and delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pick up shipments from VIP clients and branches as per the assigned schedule.
• Ensure proper handling and secure transport of fragile or high-value shipments.
• Verify shipment details, including waybills, package counts, and documentation, before pickup.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with VIP clients and branch personnel.
• Coordinate with dispatch and sorting teams to ensure timely processing of collected shipments.
• Adhere to all company safety and security protocols for package transportation.
• Report any delays, discrepancies, or issues encountered during pickups.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of collected shipments.
• Perform basic vehicle/motorcycle maintenance checks before starting daily routes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or at least a high school graduate with relevant courier/logistics experience.
• Proven experience as a rider/courier, preferably in the logistics or e-commerce industry.
• Valid motorcycle license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of city routes and branch locations.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle high-priority shipments with professionalism and care.
