Delivery Driver

The Driver – Bus Lines, Port, and Airport Pickups is responsible for collecting shipments from bus terminals, ports, and airports, ensuring timely and secure transport to the company’s warehouse or dispatch areas. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining smooth logistics operations by ensuring that inbound shipments arrive on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:
• Pick up shipments from bus terminals, seaports, and airports as per the assigned schedule.
• Verify and check shipment details, including waybills, package counts, and documentation, before transport.
• Ensure proper handling and secure loading/unloading of packages to prevent damage.
• Coordinate with bus companies, airline cargo handlers, and port authorities for smooth transactions.
• Maintain communication with the warehouse, dispatch, and operations teams regarding pickup schedules and any delays.
• Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations during transit.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before trips.
• Report any delays, discrepancies, or transport issues encountered during pickups.
• Keep accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and fuel usage.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or at least a high school graduate with relevant driving and logistics experience.
• Valid driver’s license (Professional License, Restriction 1, 2, 3).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, logistics driver, or cargo transporter.
• Knowledge of bus terminals, port operations, and airport cargo handling procedures.
• Strong understanding of traffic rules, transportation safety, and proper package handling.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early morning, night, or weekend shifts.
• Good time management and communication skills.
