Job Description
SALARY RANGE: 18,000 - 25,000
JOB INFORMATION AND KEY RESULT AREAS
The Driver is primarily tasked to provide safe transportation of people and properties to and from various destinations relevant to company business operation and ensure that core business operational requirements are met. The position shall be equally responsible that operational processes are consistent with the vision, mission and core values of the company and achieve its performance, KRAs and KPIs.
Key Job Results include timely transportation service, maintaining vehicle on top condition at all times, client service satisfaction, adherence to the company's core values and efficient utilization of company resources.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Prepares travel itineraries and route assignments;
Receives daily driving schedules;
Checks direction of destination;
Checks exterior condition of the vehicle;
Checks gas, oil and water;
Checks odometer reading;
Drives client to and from various places;
Assists clients in boarding and departing from vehicles;
Transports goods and materials from one place to another;
Receives goods from sender;
Checks availability of contact receiving the goods to be transported in its destination
Endorses goods and requires receiver to sign Transmittal/Receiving slip;
Endorses Transmittal/Receiving slip to sender.
Performs minor vehicle troubleshooting as may be necessary;
Performs cleaning and regular maintenance of vehicles;
Checks condition of the vehicle;
Recommends preventive check-up based on observation;
Monitors vehicle’s preventive maintenance schedule
Monitors gas consumption, oil and water;
Accomplish personnel forms and submits on time;
Attends to internal meetings;
Applies established systems and procedures related to department operations;
Maintains records as may be assigned;
Performs other tasks as may be assigned;
Prepares incident/accident report on unexpected situations;
Alerts Immediate Head of such incident/accident;
Takes accountability on the following matters:
Issued materials and equipment
Vehicle assigned and its proper documentation
Customer service level commitment.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT
KNOWLEDGE:
Appropriate knowledge of places and locations necessary in the conduct of duties;
Appropriate knowledge of company policies and procedures;
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting procedure;
Basic knowledge of driving laws;
Basic self-defense knowledge;
Concepts of occupational safety.
SKILLS:
Possess professional driving skills;
Ability to give basic customer service;
Ability to comprehend instructions and directions as applicable;
Basic reading and writing abilities;
Keen attention to details;
Multi-tasking skills – ability to work from simple to complex task on a given time;

High school graduate
With professional driver’s license
