Sorter Mini / Major Sorting

The Sorter – Mini & Major Sorting is responsible for accurately sorting packages according to their designated routes and destinations. This role ensures that shipments are properly categorized and routed, reducing delivery errors and improving the overall efficiency of the courier operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sort shipments of varying sizes based on assigned destinations and handling requirements.
• Verify and cross-check package labels, waybills, and barcodes to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure proper categorization of high-priority, fragile, and time-sensitive shipments.
• Operate and monitor manual and automated sorting systems as required.
• Identify and report sorting errors, misrouted shipments, or damaged packages.
• Maintain organization in the sorting area to ensure smooth workflow.
• Work closely with the dispatch and quality assurance teams to resolve sorting discrepancies.
• Assist in generating reports on sorting efficiency and error rates.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Experience in warehouse operations, sorting, or courier logistics is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in high-volume environments.
• Familiarity with sorting processes and automated sorting systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines.
