Warehouse Staff

Warehouse Staff is responsible for verifying and ensuring the accuracy of shipment manifests, checking package details against records, and identifying discrepancies before processing. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining operational efficiency and preventing shipment errors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manifest Verification:
• Check incoming and outgoing shipment manifests to ensure accuracy.
• Verify package details, including tracking numbers, weight, and destination, against the manifest records.
• Identify and report missing, excess, or incorrect shipments.
2. Quality Control:
• Conduct random inspections to ensure shipments match the manifest.
• Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and documented before processing.
• Report damaged or improperly documented packages to the supervisor.
3. Documentation & Reporting:
• Record discrepancies and escalate issues for resolution.
• Ensure all checked manifests are properly documented and filed.
• Assist in generating reports on manifest accuracy and shipment discrepancies.
4. Coordination & Compliance:
• Work closely with receiving, dispatch, and sorting teams to resolve manifest-related issues.
• Follow company policies and standard operating procedures for manifest checking.
• Assist in training new staff on proper manifest verification procedures.
Qualifications:
• College graduate.
• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or courier services is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and shipment documentation.
