Job Description
Position: Tax Supervisor
Location: Marikina City, On-site reporting
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise the preparation and filing of tax returns for both individual and corporate clients, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
* Review and provide guidance on tax computations, assessments, and audits.
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with tax laws and accounting standards.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring their professional growth and development.
* Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company and clients remain compliant.
* Provide proactive advice on corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and other tax-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in tax compliance, tax advisory, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Previous experience in supervising and managing a team is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with tax preparation software is a plus.
