As an AU Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting Australian clients with their accounting needs. This is an office-based role, perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Maintain accurate financial records following Australian accounting standards
Process accounts payable & receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and other compliance reports
Conduct bank reconciliations and manage general ledger transactions
Process payroll, including PAYG, Superannuation, and other obligations
Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
Ensure tax compliance and liaise with Australian clients & tax authorities
Support internal & external audits by preparing necessary financial documents
Provide financial insights to help drive business decisions
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
✔ 3-5 years of accounting experience for Australian clients
✔ Strong knowledge of GST, BAS, and payroll regulations
✔ Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
✔ Advanced Excel skills & experience with financial reporting tools
✔ Exceptional attention to detail & analytical skills
✔ Strong communication skills to work with international clients
✔ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
✔ Can start ASAP and willing to work ONSITE
