About the Role:
We are looking for a Category Supervisor to oversee the performance of consumer electronics retail products, ensuring sales growth, profitability, and market competitiveness. This role involves product selection, pricing strategies, inventory management, sales performance analysis, and promotional planning. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and can collaborate effectively with suppliers, sales teams, marketing, and store operations to drive category success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Category Supervision & Sales Performance

Oversee the sales and performance of assigned consumer electronics products.
Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and market share.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, margins, and stock turnover.

- Product Selection & Inventory Management

Assist in curating product assortments, ensuring availability of fast-moving and in-demand items.
Coordinate with supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding stock outs and overstock situations.
Work with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and promotional deals.
- Pricing & Promotions Strategy

Assist in setting competitive pricing strategies based on market trends and competitor benchmarking.
Plan and execute discounts, bundling strategies, and promotional campaigns to boost category sales.
Coordinate with marketing teams to drive category visibility through digital and in-store promotions.
- Market & Sales Analysis

Track consumer trends and competitor activities to identify category growth opportunities.
Use sales data and analytics to recommend improvements in product assortment, pricing, and marketing.
- Cross-Department Collaboration

Work closely with the sales team to ensure retail staff are trained and equipped with product knowledge.
Coordinate with store operations to ensure proper execution of category strategies at the retail level.
Partner with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns tailored to category goals.
Customer Engagement & Store Support

Gather customer feedback to enhance product selection and improve category sales strategies.
Support frontline teams in executing category initiatives and resolving retail challenges.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1 year and up of experience in category supervision, merchandising, or retail operations in consumer electronics.
- Strong understanding of sales forecasting, inventory planning, and retail analytics.
- Experience in working with suppliers, vendors, and negotiating product deals.
- Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and pricing strategies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and retail management software.
- Highly adaptable, able to work in diverse workplace settings and engage at all levels.
- Willing to work onsite in Taguig, Monday to Friday.
