Job Description
Specific Responsibilities
•Collaborates with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather input and align on demand forecasts.
•Monitors and analyzes demand patterns to identify potential risks and opportunities.
•Works closely with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure inventory levels are optimized to meet demand.
•Improves forecasting accuracy through data analysis, process enhancements, and technology utilization.
•Communicates demand forecasts and insights to cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making.
•Leads Operations & Procurement Planning meetings to review demand forecasts, inventory levels, and innovation plans.
•Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance demand planning efficiency and effectiveness.
•Stays updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in demand planning
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable sources of supply and favorable terms and conditions
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation within the supply chain and implement appropriate solutions
Profile
•Qualifications
1.Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Industrial/Management Engineering, or related field.
2.Strong background in procurement, warehousing, demand planning and logistics
•Competencies
o With 3-5 years of proven work experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
o Possess strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
o With excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
o With the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
o Preferably with supervisory or managerial experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG industries.
