Job Description

• Follows working schedule set up by the Director.
• Follows uniform rules & personal grooming rules set up by the Director.
• Represent First Gourmet Academy, its staff, professors & students in a professional & responsible way.
• Responsible in promoting the academy in a way that increases the awareness of the academy for potential students & their families.
• Receives phone calls & visits in a professional way by potential students using guidelines set up by the Director.
• In charge of managing & developing the social media sites regarding First Gourmet and Fika by suing Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram etc. with approval of the Director.
• On a monthly basis in charge of the blog site of First Gourmet Academy as well as newspapers advertorials.
• Come up suggestions for marketing strategies like monitoring the accomplishment of the graduates
• In charge of layout for flyers, posters, banners, etc.
• Issues checks for suppliers from the accounting officer.
• Assist in informing enrolled students about the curriculum by emailing them regularly the handouts & recipes.
• Maintain security & confidentiality by following company rules & regulations.
• Answer telephone, screen & direct calls, take & relay messages.
• Provide relevant information to callers.
• Greet persons entering the academy.
• Deal with queries from the public & customers.
• Ensures knowledge of staff movements in & out of organization.
• General administrative & clerical support; prepares letters & documents.
• Receive & sort emails, mail & deliveries.
• Schedule appointments; organize meetings/take notes of minutes of the meetings.
• Take videos and pictures of events.
• Maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically.
• Tidy & maintain the reception area.
• Ensure that all instructions/task given by the Director or Manager are promptly and accurately executed.
