Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible in revolving around the recruitment and
placement of employees (both Corporate and Operations). The job duties may range from
screening job candidates and conducting interviews to performing background checks and
providing orientation to new employees.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
 Determines employee and/or hiring manager needs -provide recruitment counsel and guidance
to hiring managers with hiring and employment data. May develop specialized or competitive
intelligence and research about talent development or retention
 Develops a sustainable talent acquisition and hiring plans and strategies
 Designs, plans and executes employer branding activities
 Encourages employees to be brand ambassadors
 Plans employee referral programs and other recruiting programs
 Develops college recruiting programs and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn
 Uses Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Recruitment Marketing tools
 Sources and finds candidates qualified for open positions. This may include job posting
optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and
non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent
planning, use of social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to
source candidates for open jobs
 Performs analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast
 Designs, plans and executes selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls,
administer psychological tests etc.)
 Reviews employment applications and background check reports
 Finds bottlenecks in the recruiting process
 Performs candidate and employee satisfaction evaluations and workshops
 Plans procedures for improving the candidate experience
 Manages and guides development of corporate employment resource
 Participates in employment events, such as career fairs, job caravans, road shows and other
marathon recruitment platforms or programs.
 Uses sophisticated applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software and CRM system
to track applicants through the selection phase through to on-boarding.
 Develops relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the
procurement and measurement process
 Suggests measures for improving employee retention
 Leads, oversees and supervises members of the recruiting team
 Utilizes sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles
 Attends career and college fairs, and similar events
 Determines HR (People Department) and recruiting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
 Creates and presents KPI reports
 Performs other tasks or duties as may be assigned by HR leadership or TH Management from
time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Bachelor’s degree focusing on Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Behavioral Science,
or other related areas
 Extensive HR supervisory or management experience
 Minimum of 2 years of experience as TA Manager or similar HR role
 In-depth knowledge of full cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
 Familiarity with a variety of different selection methods (interviews, assignments, psychological
test etc.) and/or innovation and up-to-date exposure to trending sourcing platforms, digital or
otherwise
 Hands on experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards
 Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
 Ability to motivate employees
 Demonstrates deep personal accountability for great performance
 Can demonstrate great business understanding, analytical and with real eye for detail
 Enjoys working in a hands-on environment and has genuine interest in understanding issues
behind the numbers
