Job Description

Drake’s top client – an HVAC manufacturer is hiring a Sales Engineer - Plant Room Retrofit to be part of their collaborative team in Paranaque City.

Summary:
The Sales Engineer - Plant Room Retrofit is dedicated to serve customers and act as their representative to check on work that has been delivered to ensure quality and on time completion. The Sales Engineer must ensure that customers’ issues are being addressed and handled promptly by respective stakeholders to resolve issues. They understand customers’ needs and work out solution offerings to meet those needs. The role is responsible for developing long-term customer relationships to achieve customer satisfaction in compliance with the company’s strategy. The role requires technical knowledge, customer focus, and ability to work closely with other departments and functions to deliver value to customers.

Responsibilities:
• Act as the customers' representative and point of contact for all plant room retrofit requirements.
• Encourage customer growth and loyalty through continuous support and assistance.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, identifying key customers and developing action plans to grow accounts in plant room retrofit.
• Identify potential options to meet customer needs and collaborate with the Technical Support Team to make these options available.
• Identify opportunities with existing service customers and update them on retrofit offerings.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems with internal stakeholders, developing solutions, and making recommendations to customers.
• Understand customer and vertical market needs to determine pricing and selling strategies.
• Prepare and review contract terms and conditions using standard templates when applicable.
• Present proposals to customers.
• Provide marketplace feedback, including competitive information, customer expectations, and industry trends.
• Perform any other duties as deemed appropriate.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• At least 2 years of direct sales experience, with knowledge in HVAC systems, Chiller Plant, Airside, Energy Services, and Building Services being an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in the Code of Business Ethics.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering documents.
• Capable of solving complex problems by integrating and interpreting data from diverse sources.
• Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle abstract and concrete variables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with multi-functional teams.
