Inventory Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Forecasting:
Demand Forecasting: Analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to predict future demand for products.
Supply Planning: Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and manage potential supply chain disruptions.
Inventory Control:
Monitoring Stock Levels: Continuously tracking inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
Implementing Inventory Control Systems: Setting up and managing inventory tracking systems, including barcode scanning, RFID, and other technologies.
Cycle Counting and Audits: Conducting regular physical inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
Purchasing and Procurement:
Vendor Management: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Negotiating Prices and Contracts: Securing the best possible prices and terms from suppliers.
Placing Orders: Placing purchase orders with suppliers and tracking order fulfillment.
Warehouse Management:
Optimizing Warehouse Space: Efficiently utilizing warehouse space to maximize storage capacity.
Overseeing Warehouse Operations: Managing warehouse staff, overseeing receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyzing Inventory Data: Identifying trends, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, days of sales outstanding, and fill rate.
Generating Reports: Preparing reports on inventory levels, performance, and costs for management.
Continuous Improvement:
Identifying and Implementing Improvements: Continuously seeking ways to improve inventory management processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
