Job Description

The Kitchen Admin is responsible for providing administrative support to the kitchen staff and ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen. This includes managing schedules, coordinating supplies, and assisting in communication between kitchen staff and other departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create and maintain schedules for kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
Coordinate with the management team to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours and special events.
Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, including food supplies, utensils, and cleaning materials.
Place orders for kitchen supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that orders are placed in a timely manner.
Act as a liaison between kitchen staff and other departments, such as front-of-house, management, and suppliers.
Communicate important information, such as menu changes or special requests, to kitchen staff.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of kitchen schedules, inventory, and supplier information.
Prepare reports as needed, providing insights into kitchen efficiency and suggesting improvements.
Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications related to the kitchen.
Qualification

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in culinary arts or hospitality is a plus.
Previous experience in a kitchen or administrative role is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail in maintaining records and schedules.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to interact effectively with kitchen staff, management, and external suppliers.
Proactive problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise and find efficient solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team and other staff members.
Salary:
645,00 ₱ Daily
