Job Description

Job Description:
Extensive knowledge of PCB manufacturing process, image transfer, lamination or drilling, and profiling process (Dry Process)
Extensive knowledge of PCB manufacturing process, electroplating/surface finish (Wet Process)
Have skills to identify weaknesses in the PCB process.
Able to perform risk assessment/troubleshooting on PCB processes with systematic approach - root cause analysis, plan & execute for preventive/corrective action, standardization of control.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve manufacturing process-related Issues.
Coordinate and execute process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization initiatives and implement changes at the process step.
Lead and participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities.
Process setup to meet Critical Quality Requirements, CPK, Yield, and Quality targets.
Problem-solving and working on the Root Cause Analysis/Finding using 5M + 1E, 5 whys, DMAIC, 8D approach/methodology.
Process FMEA and Risk Assessment on process window optimization (DOE)
Establish and update process documentation as needed: SOP, WI, FMEA, OCAP, and Control Plan for related processes.
Report any non-conformance/customer complaint issues and develop/follow up the improvement actions.
Performs other duties as required by immediate superior from time to time.

With a valid Philippine Passport
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Materials, Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, etc.).
Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing processes, with expertise in areas such as Platting, laser cutting, final inspection packaging, graphics transfer, and surface treatment.
Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) and semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Proficiency in process optimization, statistical analysis, and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
Familiar with CAD software and electronic design tools for PCB layout and design.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, safety, and compliance in manufacturing operations.
Willing to be based at STP manufacturing plant in Batu Kawan, Penang
