Technical Writer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality documentation that supports our products and services. This includes user guides, technical manuals, API documentation, and online help content. The Technical Writer will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and clarity of the documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Documentation Creation: Write, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation for various products and services, including user guides, technical manuals, API documentation, and online help content.

a. Research and Understand: Dive deep into the technical aspects of our slot machines, including their hardware, software, and gameplay mechanics.

b. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy and clarity of the documentation.

c. Maintenance Procedures: Document step-by-step procedures for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading slot machines.

d. Troubleshooting Guides: Develop troubleshooting guides to assist technicians in diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.

e. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all documentation adheres to industry standards, safety guidelines, and legal requirements.

2. Document control / Content Management: Develop and maintain documentation standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all documentation. Organize and manage documentation resources, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible to users.

3. Quality Assurance: Review and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and correctness, reflecting the functionality and usage of the products and services.

4. Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and end-users on how to use the documentation effectively.

a. User Feedback: Collect and incorporate user feedback to improve documentation quality and usability.

b. User Training Materials: Create training materials for casino staff and operators to maximize the efficiency of our slot machines.

Job Qualifications:

Graduate of any Engineering and IT related courses.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, or any related field.

1-3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a software or technology environment.

Proficiency in using documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, SolidWorks, and various content management systems (CMS).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail, ability to organize complex information and produce high-quality documentation.

Basic understanding of software development, electrical, mechanical concepts, and other related terminology.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, when handling, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Adaptability to learn new technologies quickly.

Knowledge or interest in slot machines and casino games is an edge.

Technical writing certification is an advantage.
