Job Description

Position: Director of Operations
Job Overview:
As the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the company’s
daily operational activities, ensuring that the business runs smoothly and efficiently. This role
requires a strategic thinker who can implement effective processes, manage a diverse team, and
drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Director of Operations will collaborate with other
senior leaders to achieve organizational goals and enhance overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
• Manage and supervise the daily operations across all departments, plant sites and
operating locations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Strategic Planning:
• Work with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with
company goals.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead and inspire the operations team, promoting a culture of high performance and
continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development
opportunities for staff.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the operations team and across
departments.
Process Improvement:
• Analyze existing processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and
productivity.
• Leverage technology to streamline operations and reduce operational costs.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard company operations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain operational integrity and
compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Collaborate with senior leadership and other department heads to align operational
strategies with business objectives.
• Represent the operations department in executive meetings and provide regular updates
on operational performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and
regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in the
renewable energy sector, having excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong
business acumen, and a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Management,
preferably a registered or professional engineer, with a Master's degree or MBA.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years
in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of successfully managing complex operations and
leading large teams.
