DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS:
• The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in the renewable energy sector, having excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong business acumen, and a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Management, preferably a registered or professional engineer, with a Master's degree or MBA.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of successfully managing complex operations and leading large teams.
• Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills;Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities; Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics; In-depth understanding of industry regulations and compliance; Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; and Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools.
• Work Environment: This role operates primarily in a professional office environment, with occasional travel required for meetings and site visits.

RESPONSIBILITY:
• Manage and supervise the daily operations across all departments, plant sites and operating locations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
• Work with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company goals.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
• Lead and inspire the operations team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities for staff.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the operations team and across departments.
• Analyze existing processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Leverage technology to streamline operations and reduce operational costs.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard company operations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain operational integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and other department heads to align operational strategies with business objectives.
• Represent the operations department in executive meetings and provide regular updates on operational performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
