Job Description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES DIRECTOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience in business development and revenue generation within the renewable energy or power industry.
• Has an extensive network in the power industry, including Distribution Utilities and other potential off takers.
• Strong understanding of solar energy technologies and market trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and identify growth opportunities.
• Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Proficiency in data analysis and market research tools.

RESPONSIBILITY:
• Site Identification: Lead the Business Development team in conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify potential solar plant sites. Evaluate site feasibility and suitability based on factors such as location, infrastructure, and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain close relationships with industry stakeholders, including officers of distribution utilities, power generation companies, and other customers in the power industry. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points, and tailor our solutions accordingly.
• Business Development: Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams within the renewable energy sector.
• Market Expansion: Explore and penetrate new markets and geographies to diversify revenue sources and expand our presence in the solar energy sector. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to make informed business decisions.
• Negotiations and Contracts: Lead negotiations with potential clients and partners to secure contracts and agreements that align with the company's goals. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all business dealings.
• Revenue Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize revenue-generating processes and strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue opportunities and operational efficiency.
