Job Description

RFP/Proposal Management Lead (RFPIO)

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Team Lead / Manager is expected to manage deliverable distribution and
understand groups’ capacity. He/She is expected to prepare the team’s work
allocation. He/She must ensure that issues and escalations are addressed in a
timely and decisive manner.
• Team Lead / Manager is expected to show mastery of his/her process group
hence would act as a preparer and reviewer of all reports submitted by his/her
team member.
• He/She should be able to manage the group’s expectations and conflicts that
affect productivity.
• Ensure proper communications with stakeholders. He/She is accountable that all
reports and deliverables are completed or handed off properly.
• Lead meetings and trainings efficiently, may it be scheduled or adhoc.
• Team Lead / Manager is expected to collaborate with peers to drive efforts in the
development of new tools and/or process improvements for the team; Liaise with
groups necessary for the teams’ requirements.
• Monitor progress of team members thorough feedback giving and coaching.
Ability to recognize and fairly assess team member’s performance and output.
• Ensure completeness of process documentations.
• Ensure all emails are read and actioned daily.
• Any related process as required by the team

Qualification:
1. At least 3 years experience with RFPIO / Responsive tool
2. At least 5 years experience doing RFP work and fully understands how to
prepare all the relevant deliverables and processes.
3. Able to clearly explain “why” things are being done
4. Excellent command of the English language – decoding, fluency, vocabulary,
sentence construction and cohesion, reasoning, working memory and attention.
5. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members, peers and colleagues
7. Ability to operate within a collaborative, team-oriented culture as well as operate
independently
8. Well organized, detail oriented; able to multi-task and keep track of various
deadlines
9. Able to work in fast-paced environment and keep pace with technical and
operational innovation
10.Able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
11.Ability to work with different cultures and across different geographic locations

Education and Experience
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Financial
Management, Economics, Accounting, Communications, Legal and other related
business course.
2. At least 3 to 4 years of successful related industry experience would be an
advantage. Team management experience is preferred.
3. The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of how an investment
management firm operates.
4. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of financial products and
relevant external counterparties.
