Job Description

Department: Sales – Office Division

General Summary:

· Manages sales of the company’s products and services within a defined geographic area, province, or country. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment, and management of sales specialists. Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plan to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

CORE FUNCTIONS:

· Collaborates with General Manager in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.

· Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.

· Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.

DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

· Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with General Manager

· Manages and develops sales specialists.

· Reviews the progress of sales roles throughout the company.

· Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.

· Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.

· Provides quarterly results assessments of Sales or Account Specialists' productivity.

· Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.

· Formulates all sales policies, practices, and procedures in line with company policies.

· Assists sales specialists in establishing personal contact and rapport with top rank decision-makers.

· Collaborates with General Manager to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.

· Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.

· Educates sales specialists by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.

· Reviews expenses and recommends resources.

· Hold regular meetings with sales specialists.

· Reports directly to General Manager

· Performs special assignments as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Architecture, Engineering (Civil), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.

· Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Sales - Corporate or equivalent.
Must have 3 to 5 years Sales Management experience background would ideally have been in sales of office furniture/ flooring/ special planning or a product or service sold to large corporates where you have built relationships with buyers, procurement managers

· Ability to read and interpret plans and conceptualize special layout is advantageous Ideal background/ previous experience

· Strong Management, motivation, and marketing skills within the office furniture industry

· Must have strong consultative sales skills, as well as experienced in the office furniture industry

· Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as necessary
Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks

· Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.

· Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team. Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
