Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handles below the line/events/trade/sales in-store marketing promotions and events.
Acts as end-to-end owner of brand and category trade plans, promotional guidelines, and trade budget - from conceptualization, program cascade, to sales force, execution and post-evaluation.
Formulates, recommends and implements monthly area programs to address specific brand concerns to deliver sell-out targets and that are relevant to a particular area and ensure effectiveness of the trade campaign
Strengthens event process flow and closely monitor the result of all activities by quantifying volume gain, program drivers and key learning points and must submit a post activity evaluation report per activity.
Close collaboration with Sales Support team in the lead generation system by building and reinforcing a sales and marketing funnel, maximizing the marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency
Collecting, analyzing and interpreting data from various sources such as web analytics, social media metrics, and customer surveys.
Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards that summarize key metrics and insights.
Identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities in the data that can inform marketing strategy and tactics.
Draw insights from market data as well as from a developed skill in keen observation of the consumer's shopping purchase and consumption usage habits; gathering and analyzing market data and consumer observations for the purpose of recommending appropriate marketing strategies and action plans.
Evaluates concepts, processes and market segments; as well as spot/assess gaps and identify opportunities in order to develop, rationalize and recommend positioning strategies for the assigned brand within a segment or category.
Conducts research to identify market competitors and trends to target customers’ preferences.
Identify and evaluate business opportunities for product/brand growth using market research, analysis, and competitive market intelligence

QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must possess the following:

Graduate of Marketing or related course.
At least 5 years relevant work experience in Trade Marketing or Marketing. Background in a consumer goods set up is an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in evaluating and understanding market data and trends.
Event management.
Must be willing to do field work.

SKILLS
Above average communication skills both oral and written.
Strong data analysis skills
Demonstrates critical thinking, flexibility, and resourcefulness
Must be proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications
