General Accountant

Minimum Qualifications/Skills/Experience

- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate; CPA required;
- Background in real estate operations is an advantage;
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Highly analytical and willing to work long hours;
- Above average people handling skills;
- Above average written and verbal skills;
- Keen attention to details and highly organized;
- Personable, articulate, and a team player,

Duties/Responsibilities;

- Responsible for the timely and efficient generation of Balance Sheet and Income statement summary of accounts and its subsidiary ledgers;
- Prepares journal vouchers, monthly schedules for financial reports, BIR remittances and reports, and SSS/PHIC/HDMF remittances and reports;
- Ensure timely and accurate submissions and payments of required external reports such as BIR, SSS, PhilHealth and PAG-IBIG;
- Ensure timely payments of taxes and filing of required returns to the BIR;
- Keeps abreast with all new BIR regulations and ensure proper imposition of taxes;
- Facilitate year-end audit requirements;
- Monitors actual expenditures vs. budget;
- Prepares semi-monthly sales performance report;
- Handles affiliates and JV’s inquiries and follow up;
- Handles E-link related transactions; (Monitoring of easy saver accounts of seller and uploading of commissions)
- Monitoring of Cash advance released through checks and checking of liquidations of cash advance of employees.
- Checking of revolving fund liquidation from branches and incentive fund.
- Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
