Accountant

O VAT Returns:
▪ Assist in the preparation and submission of accurate VAT returns.
▪ Ensure all transactions are correctly classified and recorded in line with applicable VAT
regulations.
▪ Liaise with relevant departments to gather required documentation and information.
o Financial Accounts:
▪ Aid in the preparation of annual financial statements.
▪ Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and
procedures.
o Management Accounts:
▪ Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or yearly management accounts.
▪ Collaborate with various departments to collate and analyze financial data, ensuring its
accuracy and relevance.
o Corporation Tax Returns:
▪ Support the preparation and submission of corporation tax returns.
▪ Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
o Bookkeeping:
▪ Provide ad hoc assistance with client bookkeeping asrequired.
▪ Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
o General Assistance:
▪ Willingly get involved in varioustasks and projects asthey arise.
▪ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
▪ Recommend improvements to existing accounting processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in an accounting role is preferred.
• 5-7 years experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
