Senior Accountant

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash
flow statements, specifically related to the food and beverage department.
• Monitor and analyze sales, costs, and expenses, identifying trends and variances, and provide actionable
insights to improve financial performance.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and making
recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.

2. Cost Control and Budgeting:
• Develop and maintain budgets for food and beverage operations, including forecasting revenues and
expenses.
• Monitor and control costs by analyzing procurement processes, inventory levels, and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
without compromising quality and customer satisfaction.

3. Inventory Management:
• Oversee inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation of food and beverage
inventory.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize waste, and
prevent stockouts.

4. Compliance and Audit:
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations, including tax requirements
and industry-specific regulations.
• Prepare financial documentation for internal and external audits and assist auditors in their review
processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and prevent fraud.

5. Systems and Process Improvement:
• Evaluate existing financial systems, processes, and procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Streamline and automate financial processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Recommend and implement accounting software solutions that align with the specific needs of the food
and beverage department.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA not required.
• +3 years of accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including cost accounting.
• Familiarity with relevant accounting software and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across
departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
• Willing to work in BGC, Taguig City.
• Experience in the food and beverage/hospitality industry is a plus.
