Job Description
I. BASIC PURPOSE
Responsible for endorsing qualified candidates, mainly from Boarding Houses, based
on the specified requirements of the Principal, as conveyed by the Crewing Managers,
within the set timeline.
Also performs other functions or participates in adhoc projects as may be assigned
from time to time.
II. ORGANIZATIONAL SCOPE
Organizational Unit : Crewing
Reports to : Recruitment Manager

III. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
BUSINESS PROCESS

Utilizes assigned company resources ensuring that expenses are
within departmental budget.

Utilizes relevant system according to standard procedures to
ensure efficient and effective management of the same.
3. Sourcing and
Pooling of
Applicants
Assists in sourcing for qualified applicants based on the
specified requirements of the Principal.
Assists in maintaining a pool of qualified applicants via the
crewing system to ascertain availability of candidates at any
given time.
4. Shortlisting of
Candidates/
Job Matching
Assists in shortlisting candidates based on the requirements of
the Principal to ensure that applicant qualifications match the
job specifications, prior to endorsement to the concerned
Crewing Manager.
5. Screening of
Applicants
Assists in conducting preliminary screening to shortlisted
candidates to ascertain authenticity of information recorded in
the database.
Checks pre-employment documents submitted by candidates
relative to their authenticity and completeness.
Ascertains that candidates undergo the mandatory pre-
employment examinations.
Conducts character checking with the candidate’s former
agency/employer in relation to the candidate’s personality,
working habits and disposition.
Endorse candidates to concerned unit for technical interview.
6. Facilitation of
Reports
Preparation
Prepares and submits reports on candidate status and
recruitment statistics are prepared and submitted as required.
7. Communication Regularly communicates to concerned individuals updated,
complete, accurate and relevant information.
8. Process
Improvement
Formulates ideas to improve work processes within and outside
work scope.

IV. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education requirement : 4 year College graduate
Ideal education requirement : any Behavioral course graduate
Minimum job-related experience : 1 year
On-the-job training required : 6 months
