Job Description
Engage business lines to understand migration requirements
Devise detailed project plans to execute migrations
Coordinate with various teams to ensure deliverables are met
Escalate issues in a timely manner and suggest alternative approaches
Partner with the business to ensure smooth execution of plans
Work consistently to improve and update migration methodologies and toolkits
Ensures Transition projects are / remain fully auditable
Ensures all forecast costs are fully understood at the start of each project and transition budgets are agreed upon with the accounting team
Develops / maintains effective commercial awareness of Tech Mahindra processes and standards
Manages customer relationships, account management and operational controls of related tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7-10 years of experience in transitions / project management or equivalent
At least 1-2 years operations experience
Graduate / MBA with project management experience, preferably pertaining to process migration
Working knowledge of Six Sigma
Experience with pre-sales / post-sales support (C-Level interface), Transition Management, and blended (offshore / onshore) delivery operations
Has experience in managing large projects for multiple / different customers
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Team leadership / management skills
Customer relationship management skills
Ability to adhere to deadlines by managing key project milestones and deliverables as part of the project plan
Ability to proactively seek, pre-empt and prevent bottlenecks by implementing practical solutions within tight deadlines
