Job Description

The HR & Admin Supervisor oversees human resources administration, personnel support, and internal coordination. This role ensures effective staffing, maintains records, and helps foster a supportive and efficient working environment at the parish. The role ensures the proper implementation of HR policies, promotes a
healthy and productive workplace culture, and manages office operations efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

HR Administration
● Maintain updated records of employees
● Handle onboarding and offboarding (contracts, clearances, IDs, etc.)
● Monitor attendance, absences, and leaves; maintain leave records
● Support staff well-being by helping manage schedules during sick leaves or absences
● Coordinate with personnel agencies (janitorial, security, drivers).
● Check and validate manpower billing/ daily time records for agency personnel.
● Handle recruitment and selection for key roles within the organization
● Facilitate the performance evaluation process

Reporting and Support
● Assist the Church Secretary with parochial reports
● Help monitor compliance with government regulations (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) in coordination with Treasurer/Finance
● Prepare eligibility lists for Vestry elections, nominations, and other membership-based criteria
● Reporting of Performance Evaluation Scores
Conflict Resolution and Staff Support
● Provide first-line support during workplace issues or sensitive matters (e.g., handling concerns related
to conduct, behavior, internal complaints)
● Liaise with clergy and lay leadership for interventions and follow-ups
● Assist with confidential matters, including reporting concerns from staff, volunteers, or members
● Enforce implementation of employee handbook

Qualifications/Skills
-Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business
Administration, Psychology, or any related field.
-At least 3 years of experience in HR and office management, preferably
in a church, NGO, or non-profit setting.
-Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to communicate effectively in English and Filipino
-Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Work Schedule: Wednesdays to Mondays (8 am to 5 pm), Sundays (half day)
Work set up: On-site
