Job Description

Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., VAT, EWT, Income Tax, etc.).

Ensure compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other government regulations.

Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for audit purposes.

Review financial documents and transactions to identify taxable items.

Assist in the reconciliation of tax accounts and payment schedules.

Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise the team accordingly.

Respond to BIR notices and inquiries, and assist during tax audits or assessments.

Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants to gather relevant data.

Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing activities.
