Job Description
Prepares technical and support documents associated with and related to the following:
Business Cases and Project Initiatives
C1-Context Diagram (C4 Model)
LLDs: Low Level Designs
Writes, rewrites, and edits, with emphasis on improving the readability of documents, and is detail oriented, quality conscious, with pride of authorship
Communicates complex and technical information in easy-to-understand formats
Plans the contents of written materials according to company’s style, policy, and publishing requirements;
Oversees material production, e.g., artwork, layout, typesetting, and printing, with emphasis on ensuring adherence to deadlines, metrics, and project requirements;
Develops, gathers, and disseminates technical and creative information among stakeholders, IT practitioners and end users;
Qualifications;
Must be a graduate of B.S. IT and/or related educational background.
At least 2 to 3 years experience on Technical Writing
Proficiency with MS Tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
Superior grasp of the English language
Excellent reading comprehension, writing, and editing skills
Has experience in IT and electronic publishing, and project delivery
Knowledge in key process industry (e.g., IT and airline) issues and emerging trends is an advantage
Well adept in analyzing problems, developing and simplifying procedures, and finding novel solutions to improve processes and performance;
Communicates very well with all levels of staff, departments, and stakeholders;
Very good documentation tools skill set – applications and software used to produce technical and creative documents.
