Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Relationship Officer – Commercial Lending to support our commercial banking division. This role is specifically open to candidates of Filipino-Chinese descent, as cultural fluency and multilingual capabilities are essential to supporting our diverse client base.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in Mandarin, English, and Tagalog, and will work closely with Relationship Managers to manage client relationships, facilitate commercial loan applications, and ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Manage and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their financing requirements and long-term business goals.
✔ Assist in the preparation and submission of commercial loan applications, including financial statement analysis and credit package development.
✔ Support Relationship Managers in structuring financial solutions and coordinating internal approvals.
✔ Monitor loan portfolios for covenant compliance, renewals, and repayment schedules.
✔ Liaise with internal teams such as credit risk, legal, and operations to ensure timely loan disbursement and servicing.
✔ Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to identify opportunities for cross-selling banking products and enhancing client value.
✔ Ensure all client documentation and interactions comply with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
✔ Deliver proactive client service to ensure high satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.

Qualifications:

✔ Must be of Filipino-Chinese background with cultural familiarity in both Filipino and Chinese business practices.
✔ Must be fluent in Mandarin, English, and Tagalog (both spoken and written).
✔ 2–5 years of relevant experience in commercial or corporate banking, preferably in a client-facing or credit support capacity.
✔ Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, financial statement analysis, and credit risk fundamentals.
✔ Proven ability to build and maintain business client relationships.
✔ Experience working with middle-market or SME clients is preferred.
✔ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
✔ Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
