RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST

Qualifications:
With a degree in Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology
With active PRC license
With at least one (1) year of experience in a medical/ diagnostic clinic
Must be with knowledge in conducting basic medical assessment using a manual or digital devices or equipment
Must be willing to be sent for external medical missions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Willing to be assigned at Checkpoint Mall, Brgy, Paciano, Calamba City Laguna

Job Description:
Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols implemented by the Management or the Department of Health (D.O.H.)
Perform other tasks by request of the immediate superior relevant to the profession
Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Maintains radiology supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipts of supplies.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars/trainings.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment, answering questions.
Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures, developing radiographs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
