Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of landscape operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive horticultural knowledge, and hands-on experience in both softscape and hardscape installations. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily activities of landscape crew members on job sites.

2. Interpret and implement landscape plans, drawings, and work orders to ensure proper execution.

3. Oversee the correct installation of softscape and hardscape elements.

4. Monitor work quality and make real-time adjustments to meet project standards and deadlines.

5. Train and mentor new crew members; enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to best practices.

6. Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and light machinery.

7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment; conduct regular safety meetings and enforce PPE compliance.

8. Coordinate the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment required for scheduled jobs.

9. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and vendors regarding project updates, issues, or changes.

10. Track crew hours, material usage, and job progress for timely reporting to management.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

1. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on landscaping experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

2. Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, landscape construction, and equipment operations.

3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and specifications.

4. Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.

5. Strong organizational and time-management abilities; capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
