Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Product Development:
-Design and develop new ice cream flavors and beverage formulations.
-Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to refine products.
-Collaborate with marketing teams to align product development with market trends.

Quality Assurance:
-Monitor and maintain product quality and consistency throughout production.
-Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
-Investigate and resolve product issues and customer complaints.
Regulatory Compliance:
-Ensure all products meet federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
-Maintain accurate documentation and labeling for all products.

Collaboration:
-Work closely with production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
-Provide technical support and training to staff on product handling and safety.
-Collaborate with suppliers for raw material sourcing and quality assessment.
Research and Innovation:
-Conduct research on new ingredients and technologies to improve products.
-Explore opportunities for sustainable practices and ingredient sourcing.
-Participate in industry conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and network.

Ability to commute/relocate:
Las Piñas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
-Licensed Food Technologist (if applicable)
-Minimum of 3 years of relevant R&D experience in any of the following food industry segments: sauces and syrups (1), ice cream (1), baking/pastry (1), or beverages (1).
-Strong background in product development, formulation, and sensory evaluation
-Knowledgeable in food safety regulations and quality control standards
-Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve technical problems in product development
-Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
