Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Staff (All-Around)
Location: Palau
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Manager

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Staff is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across the resort, including plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and air conditioning maintenance. This role ensures that all facilities remain in excellent working condition to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:
General Maintenance & Repair
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of resort facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, and staff accommodations.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Ensure all repairs are done according to safety and quality standards.

Plumbing
Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures.

Fix leaks, clogged drains, and other plumbing-related concerns.

Carpentry
Repair and build furniture, doors, windows, and wooden structures as needed.

Assist in minor renovations and structural improvements.

Masonry
Conduct repairs on walls, floors, tiles, and other structural components.

Perform cementing, plastering, and tiling work as required.

Air Conditioning Maintenance
Inspect, clean, and maintain air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance.

Diagnose and repair air conditioning issues, including electrical and mechanical faults.

Ensure proper refrigerant levels and overall system efficiency.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in general maintenance work, particularly in plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and air conditioning.

Knowledge of electrical systems is an advantage.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently.

Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
