Accounting Officer

Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
General Ledger Functions:
- Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- Review account balances and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Financial Operations and Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports, including cash flow statements, receivables aging, and reconciliation summaries.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, general ledger functions, and financial reporting.
- Experience in managing collections and resolving account discrepancies
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, SAP)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
- Strong understanding of financial principles, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
