Job Description

The HR Assistant for Employee and Labor Relations is generally responsible for processing the end-to-end process of employee separation, and employee infractions, and implementing the overall competency strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

· Tracks and documents employee’s policy violation(s) and document them accordingly;

· Ensures employee files are maintained according to law;

· Responds to violations of the policy if any, resolves conflict(s) in the workplace;

· Develops and reviews company policies in line with employee relations;

· Recommends employee-relations practices which establish a positive employer-employee relationship, and promote a higher level of employee morale and motivation;

· Participates in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth;

· Remind managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company;

· Assists with the implementation of company safety and health programs which are mandated by law as part of Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH). Tracks and posts BOSH certification as to compliance by DOLE and files documents.

LABOR RELATIONS

· Complies with all the existing labor law requirements, such as occupational safety and health regulations. Maintains minimal to no exposure of the company to lawsuits;

· Protects the interests of the employees and the company, in accordance with the company’s policies, and governmental laws and regulations.
