Job Description
Key Responsibilities of a CSR:
Responding to Inquiries:
CSRs answer customer questions about products, services, and company policies via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
Resolving Issues:
They troubleshoot problems, resolve complaints, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments.
Providing Accurate Information:
CSRs offer up-to-date and accurate product and service information to customers.
Processing Orders:
They handle order placement, processing, and tracking.
Maintaining Records:
They document customer interactions and feedback in a CRM system.
Following Up:
CSRs follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and they are satisfied.
Upselling and Cross-selling:
They may identify opportunities to upselling or cross-selling products and services to customers.
Collaborating with Teams:
They work with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve the customer experience.
Maintaining a Positive Attitude:
CSRs are expected to maintain a positive, professional, and helpful attitude in all interactions.
Continuous Improvement:
They participate in training programs to enhance their knowledge and skills.
