Job Description

TASQ is hiring a corporate lawyer in Pasig.

About the job Corporate Lawyer (Pasig)
Start date: ASAP

Work setup: Onsite (Pasig)

Shift: 7am-4pm, Mon-Fri

Requirements:

Registered lawyer
Graduate of Juris Doctor and a member of the Philippine Bar in good standing.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a lawyer in a law firm, with litigation experience.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior management position.
Must have strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Must have strong communication skills in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities:

A. Legal Review and Recommendation

Conduct a thorough review of highly critical legal documents to ensure company interests are protected.
Provide legal recommendations on highly critical matters referred to the Legal Department, considering legal risk and potential outcomes.
Identify potential risks, threats, and issues from existing documents and issuances, and provide remedies or solutions.

B. Legal Consultation
Advise and recommend solutions to department and business unit heads on legal matters related to corporate affairs, labor relations, conflict resolution, and other legal implications.

C. Representation
Represent the company in correspondence with external parties for high-stake negotiations and external conflict resolution.
Participate in contract negotiations as lead negotiator or observer for high-stakes special contracts with legal risk.
Represent the company in agreement negotiations, conflict resolution with external parties, mediation proceedings, court, and arbitration, and coordinate with engaged lawyers for specific cases.
