Job Description

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a related field).
Experience:

1-3 years of experience in operations and maintenance within the solar industry, particularly with rooftop solar installations.
Hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar power systems, including photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverters, and electrical components.
Familiarity with solar monitoring systems and the ability to analyze performance data to optimize system efficiency.
Experience in preventive maintenance and repair of rooftop solar systems, including electrical wiring, solar panels, and inverters.
Knowledge and Skills:

In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems (particularly rooftop PV systems) and energy generation in the Philippine context.
Understanding of Philippine energy regulations, including those set by the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).
Proficiency in using solar monitoring software and diagnostic tools for performance tracking and system optimization.
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., Philippine Electrical Code and NEC) and industry best practices for solar installations.
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and system schematics for troubleshooting and improving system design.
Experience with battery storage systems (e.g., solar batteries) and integrating them into solar PV systems.

Other Requirements:

A valid driver’s license for on-site project coordination and maintenance tasks.
