Job Description
SCHEDULE
Flexible hours with some required overlap with Sydney business hours (9AM-5PM)
8 hours per week (two 4-hour workdays), ideally spread over two non-consecutive days (e.g., Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu)
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Facebook Ad Specialist to manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns for an upcoming business event in September. This role is focused solely on paid ads and will require expertise in audience targeting, conversion tracking, and performance optimization. The primary goals of this role are to drive event awareness and generate conversions, specifically ticket sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote a Business Summit event happening on September in Sydney
Manage paid advertising campaigns only; organic marketing will be handled separately.
Develop strategies, implement campaigns, conduct A/B testing, and handle tracking and reporting.
Drive awareness and generate conversions, with a focus on ticket sales.
Target entrepreneurs/business owners looking to sell or exit their companies
Propose ideas such as promotional strategies and work independently with minimal supervision.
Obtain approval before publishing any ads.
Participate in regular meetings and respond promptly to communication.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Must be proficient in Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager.
Experience with UTM and conversion tracking tools is essential.
Knowledge of Google Ads is preferred.
Familiarity with Google Analytics is desired.
SEO knowledge is considered a plus.
Senior-level experience in Facebook advertising is preferred.
Must be an independent worker, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
Should be collaborative and easy to work with.
Previous experience in event promotion is a huge plus.
