An Accounting Staff member performs a variety of tasks related to financial record-keeping, budgeting, and reporting for accounting departments. They may also assist with audits, tax preparation, and other financial duties.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining and Updating Financial Records:
This includes verifying, allocating, and posting transactions in the general ledger, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Preparing Financial Statements and Reports:
This involves collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting information to create financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assisting with Audits and Compliance:
This includes preparing documentation for audits, liaising with auditors, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Supporting Accounts Payable and Receivable:
This involves processing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring timely payments.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring adherence to established financial guidelines.
Other Financial Tasks:
This may include managing reimbursements, creating expense reports, and analyzing budgets.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
A bachelor's degree in accounting or BS Accountancy
Accounting Knowledge:
