The main responsibilities of an OUTBOUND CALL SPECIALIST include:

What does a typical day look like for a OUTBOUND CALL SPECIALIST?

Team Huddle
The day typically starts with a team huddle, where team leaders provide a quick briefing on goals, expectations, and previous day's performance.

Making Calls
Your main task will be making outbound calls throughout the day (approximately 150-200 calls daily). These calls are made to Pitney Bowes customers in the US and Canada who have not recently purchased supplies. It will be your role to re-engage them and drive sales through effective communication.

Hitting Sales Targets
This is a quota-driven role focused on generating sales revenue. To succeed, you need to be consistent, resilient, and persuasive in handling objections. Every call is an opportunity to build rapport, understand customer needs, and close sales.

Closing the Day
The day often ends with a follow-up huddle where managers provide updates on performance, recognize top performers, and discuss strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Required B2B/B2C sales experience.

Minimum of 1 year handling outbound or inbound calls.

Strong background in sales or customer service with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.

Excellent objection-handling, negotiation, and closing skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multitasking across multiple screens.

Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time.

Willingness to work 100% onsite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience in telesales, call center, or inside sales.

Demonstrated success in increasing sales revenue.
