Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Full Stack Developer located in Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone. The Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, front-end development, software development, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Key Responsibilities
Develops and maintains high-quality WordPress and WooCommerce websites, with an emphasis on robust and scalable solutions.
Implements custom themes and plugins tailored to unique business needs.
Collaborates with designers, product managers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences.
Optimizes site performance, including load times, SEO, and user accessibility.
Manages version control using GitHub and streamline processes using GitHub Actions.
Troubleshoots, debugs, and resolves technical issues as they arise, maintaining high standards of code quality.
Stays up-to-date with emerging industry trends and tools to ensure our tech stack remains competitive.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on WordPress and WooCommerce.
Proficiency in PHP, CorePHP, JavaScript (including frameworks like React, Vue, or Nuxt), HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
Strong knowledge of GitHub and experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrations within WordPress/WooCommerce environments.
Proven experience in developing WooCommerce plugins from scratch – Ability to build custom plugins tailored to business needs.
Strong expertise in plugin customization and WooCommerce webhooks – Must be able to modify existing plugins and work efficiently with webhooks for seamless automation.
Experience in integrating multi-vendor marketplaces (preferred) – Knowledge of platforms like Dokan, WCFM, or similar solutions is a plus.
Hands-on experience in developing Must-Use (MU) plugins from scratch – Ability to create MU plugins that enhance site functionality and performance.
Experience optimizing websites for performance and scalability.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate team collaboration and client interactions.
Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of WooCommerce add-ons and other e-commerce plugins.
Familiarity with server management, including Apache/Nginx and database optimization.
Experience with automated testing tools for quality assurance.
Knowledge of security best practices within WordPress environments.
Experience in cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker).
