Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud service which drives resilient and cost-effective cloud-based services
Monitor and optimize operating costs thru finops and right-sizing cloud instances
Perform necessary instance planning in order to identify subscription or pre-pay services to optimize subscription cost
Setup and configure cloud metrics, traces and logs in order to capture cloud services performance
Perform constant improvements on available strategy thru instance zoning and availability zones
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud services and infrastructure.
Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Implement cloud security measures, including access controls, encryption, and monitoring tools.
Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
Collaborate with software developers, IT teams, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
Provide technical guidance and training to team members.

Experience Requirement:
3–5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role.

Skills and Attributes:
Proficiency with major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud (certifications are a plus).
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
Knowledgeable in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understand the concept of FinOps
Solid understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity practices
Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other IT Groups
Effective prioritization and management of multiple tasks and projects.
Flexibility to adapt to changing technologies, tools, and business requirements.
Ability to work under pressure and remain decisive
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
